We have been alerted by the HSE about a letter that is being sent to businesses which sets out a requirement for them to purchase COVID safe air purifiers.

The HSE has confirmed that the letter is fraudulent and is not from Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy. Therefore, there is no requirement to purchase any such equipment.  

Any of our members who have received this letter should disregard it. If any businesses have already actioned the letter, the HSE suggests that they contact their bank and report it to the Police as a matter of urgency.
