Guinness 0.0 Recalls

24 November, 2020

Guinness owners Diageo has had to recall cans of its non-alcoholic Guinness range because of contamination fears just two weeks after it’s launch. The recall has been described as ‘precautionary’ but due to ‘microbiological contamination’ it might mean some products are unsafe for consumption. Anyone with cans of Guinness 0.0 are being urged not to drink them.

The new product was due to become available on draught in pubs next spring, before being launched in other parts of the world later in 2021 and was created in response to what Guinness said was growing consumer demand for lower-calorie and non-alcoholic drinks.
