Industry professionals gathered at the The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on Thursday 7th March 2024 to enjoy dinner followed by the presentation of The Menu Innovation and Development Awards (MIDAS).
A team of mystery diners and judges with considerable experience of multi-unit disciplined menu operations were tasked with deciding the winners in each of the 27 categories.
Long-standing Regency member and multi-site pub operator scooped the prestigious 'Seasonal Menu' award, which was accepted by Alice Bowyer, Liberation Group's Director of Food.
Alice commented:
"I was honoured and delighted to collect the Best Seasonal Menu Award on behalf of our food team. With our food development being headed up by Jasper Prickett our offer is in good hands, and this is excellent recognition for his and his team's hard work, dedication and talent.
As ever, I'm proud of this team and our values to keep cooking to the seasons with quality, British produce!"
The MIDAS Awards winners, along with a representative from the category sponsor, will enjoy the MIDAS Network’s five-day research and insight tour of Miami in May 2024.
