Industry experts have warned MPs about their fears that over 500,000 jobs in the hospitality industry will be gone by year end. Citing local lockdown restrictions, the 10pm curfew and a downturn in customer confidence.

Kate Nichols, chief executive of UK Hospitality stated that around 900,000 hospitality workers remain on full furlough payments as parts of the sector remain ‘in stasis’.
