Regency Purchasing Group recently supported the Association of Indoor Play (AIP) in hosting two hugely successful regional meet-ups. Both events took place at Regency member sites with the first in March at Parents Paradise in Watford and a second at Crazy Kingdom in Northallerton in April.
The regional events were each attended by 70 operators from across the UK, plus more than 20 trade members. During the events, hot industry topics were covered, such as:
At the Northern Regional, Regency’s Commercial Manager, Martin Renwick delivered a talk about the current F&B landscape and latest food trends and Pene Van Rensburg, National Account Manager for Regency supplier, Tri-Star Packaging, also presented the upcoming legislation on single use plastics and choice for operators.
Central to both events was food and drink product sampling; the Regency Purchasing team arranged for a selection of trusted suppliers and brand owners, including Booker, Britvic, Pasta King, Polar Krush and Rollover, to showcase their product ranges and concepts, allowing attendees to sample and find out more about each of the brands.
The Association of Indoor Play was founded during COVID and now has 280 indoor play operators across traditional soft play, role play, farm parks, laser arenas and mixed leisure and 45 partner trade members (including Regency Purchasing Group). Alex Demetriou, Managing Director at Regency Purchasing Group also sits on the AIP Committee.
