Last week, the Regency Purchasing Group team spent the day at Millets Farm Centre, a family-owned destination set in 150-acres of Oxfordshire countryside with an award-winning farm shop and garden centre, adventure golf course, falconry and animal encounters, indoor and outdoor play and so much more.
The day kicked off with our monthly team meeting, followed by lunch from the newly-launched restaurant menu (which was absolutely delicious!)
The team were then personally guided around the site in small groups, taking learnings from the highly-experienced team at Millets, finding out more about the full operation of the business, as well as the extensive range of food and beverage outlets and options and the seasonal events and experiences.
We also discussed how the team at Millets Farm have been working with their dedicated Regency Procurement Manager, Chris Hill to enhance customer experiences, maximise performance and profitability and overcome industry challenges.
It was a fantastically insightful day and we’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Lucinda La Velle – Director and Site Manager, Declan Clark – Operations and Maintenance Manager, Iain Burgess – Food and Beverage Manager, Aaron – Executive Chef and his team, for not only providing an exceptional venue for our monthly meeting and serving up some fabulous food, but for also taking time out of their busy days to show us around the site.
