Following the acquisition of the former seafront aquarium in Weston-super-Mare in February 2021, and an extensive, four-month refurbishment programme, we opened the doors to Revo Kitchen for the first time last month.
Sitting in a prominent location just 800 meters from the Grand Pier, another business from within our portfolio, the aquarium closed its doors in March 2019 and stood empty for almost two years.
Following an investment of 1.7M, the building has been completely transformed and is now split into two sections; one side is home to Revo Kitchen, offering a 300-cover, all-day dining experience, with a coffee shop, bakery, and restaurant/bar complete with an impressive sea-facing terrace, and on the other side is Revo Golf, a unique, junkyard-themed, glow-in-the-dark mini golf course.
While opening a new business during a pandemic comes with challenges, we’re fortunate to have strong, experienced staff members within our existing businesses, who have been instrumental in managing the successful launch of this exciting new addition to our portfolio.
As we enter the busy summer season, we are continuing to develop and evolve the business with the imminent launch of a take-away offering ready to meet customer demand and maximise sales during our peak trading period.
