Central London

Founded in 1798, Rules Restaurant in Covent Garden is the oldest restaurant in London. The legendary restaurant serves traditional British food, specialising in classic game, oysters, pies and puddings. Rules also has its own estate, the Lartington Estate in Teesdale.

"We have worked with Regency Purchasing Group for a number of years across our food and drink procurement. Regency continually evaluate our pricing to ensure we are receiving the best prices from the best suppliers, to suit the clientele of our establishment.

In addition to supporting us with our procurement needs, Regency advised us of a new partner supplier they had taken on for credit card services. As a popular attraction for international diners, it's important that we receive preferential rates on American Express, as well as Mastercard and Visa. We provided our merchant services statements to the Regency team, and received a prompt turnaround with a quote for almost 20% savings vs. our current provider.

What's more, our previous terminals were restricted by the historic building setting - we previously struggled with ‘black spot’ areas where we'd loose connection. Regency worked with us to ensure that the terminals could be used throughout the restaurant and suites, which in turn has resulted in better service for our clients."
