Butcombe Group restructures leadership team following strong performance

18 June, 2026

Long-standing Regency member, Butcombe Group, has restructured its pubs and inns leadership team after delivering a record-breaking year for its managed estate, including 23% EBITDA growth and like-for-like sales growth of 8%.

As part of the changes, Alice Bowyer has been promoted to the newly created role of Managing Director of Managed Houses. The move is designed to bring the division closer in line with the group's wider operating structure, creating a more integrated approach across food, drink, accommodation and operations.

Alice, has worked closely with her Regency procurement team since joining Butcombe more than a decade ago as an executive chef. Since joining, she has held several senior positions within the business, most recently serving as Director of Food and Drink. In her new role, she will oversee the next phase of growth for the managed house division, with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and driving commercial performance.

The business has also strengthened its leadership team with the promotion of Maria Bishop to Head of Drinks and Retail and Jasper Prickett to Head of Food.

Chief Operating Officer Jayson Perfect said the new structure positions the business to build on the momentum of a record FY26. He added that Bowyer's promotion reflects her outstanding contribution to the company, while the wider leadership changes demonstrate Butcombe's commitment to developing talent from within as the business continues to grow.

On behalf of everyone at Regency Purchasing Group, we'd like to congratulate Butcombe on their outstanding performance and a special congratulations to Alice for her well-deserved promotion.
