Levy UK & Ireland, the sports, leisure and hospitality division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has been named Sustainable Business Award winner at the 2026 Cateys, in recognition of its business-wide approach to reducing environmental impact while delivering commercial success.

The judges praised Levy's five-year sustainability strategy, which has embedded environmental performance into every aspect of its operations across more than 60 venues, serving over 14 million meals each year. Initiatives have included lower-carbon menu development, regenerative sourcing, food waste reduction, reusable packaging and supply chain improvements, all supported by robust emissions measurement and reporting.

Among the results highlighted were significant reductions in emissions from beef-based menu items, wider adoption of regenerative agriculture, the introduction of reusable cups and stronger sustainability requirements for suppliers.
