The full Regency team has recently returned from a highly engaging two-day monthly meeting held at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, one of our long-standing members managed by Procurement Manager Claire Green.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for collaboration, learning and team development in a unique and inspiring setting.
Day One: Collaboration and Connection
The event began with a team presentation activity designed to strengthen collaboration and encourage cross-team working. This was followed by a guided tour of the park, offering the team the chance to experience the environment first-hand and gain a deeper appreciation of the organisation.
The day concluded with a relaxed evening social and a delicious three-course meal at the on-site restaurant, Wild’s Bistro.
Day Two: Insight and Inspiration
The second day featured a presentation from Matthew Zaremba, Head of Hospitality at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, who shared valuable insight into the park’s history and development.
It was fascinating to learn about the park’s journey, explore its incredible animal habitats, and hear about its ambitious conservation plans for the future. From polar bears to zebras and seals, each habitat demonstrated the park’s commitment to animal welfare, education, and conservation.
We were also pleased to welcome Emma Abram and Sean Thompson from Brakes, who delivered an informative and engaging presentation to the team, adding further value to the two-day event.
The visit provided a unique blend of learning, collaboration and inspiration, making it a valuable and memorable experience for the entire Regency team.
We extend our thanks to everyone involved for contributing to such a successful away day.
