We were delighted to hear that Regency Purchasing Group client, The Wellington, Margate, has been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide, a significant achievement less than a year after opening its doors.

Located on Duke Street, The Wellington opened in December 2025 in the former Dukes bar. Led by chefs Billy Stock and Ellie Topham, the venue was created with a vision of restoring the historic building to its roots as a welcoming traditional public house, combining a relaxed front bar with a stylish dining room at the rear.

The menu celebrates British pub classics with French influences, showcasing high-quality seasonal ingredients and produce sourced from local suppliers wherever possible. This commitment to simplicity, quality and provenance has quickly established The Wellington as one of Margate's most talked-about dining destinations.

The Michelin Guide praised the venue's approach to modern pub dining, recognising the team’s dedication to creating exceptional food and a memorable guest experience while remaining true to the character of a traditional neighbourhood pub.
