The popular Sheffield kebab shop and Regency member, Enver's Turkish Grill in Sheffield recently took home first place on the BBC’s Britain's Top Takeaways.

The kebab shop proved popular among almost all of the judging families, with their Turkish kebabs rising above takeaways from London, Newcastle and Bristol to take the crown.

The business is run by husband and wife Enver and Kirstie, who were overjoyed to win. The two met in 2009 when Enver served Kirstie a kebab on holiday in Turkey.

They came back to Sheffield to open a kebab shop, where Enver specialises in chargrilling everything he makes to perfection and bringing Turkish favourites to South Yorkshire. Enver has previously been shortlisted for kebab chef of the year.
