Supporting the reopening of historic Wirral pub

Nestled on the outskirts of the historic Eastham country park, The Eastham Ferry Hotel sits on a site of historical interest and has reopened its doors after a two-year absence and an extensive restoration project returning the venue to its former glory.

Regency is very proud to have supported The Eastham Ferry Hotel as it reopened its doors for the first time since 2022 - especially because of the role it played in local Regency Procurement Manager, Steph Jude-Morris's childhood...

When Steph discovered that the site was planning to reopen its doors, she was taken back to fond childhood memories of enjoying family meals and playing at the local-to-her pub where her mum worked in the private event kitchens some 30+ years ago.

Steph reached out to the new owners and went on to coordinate meetings between the venue's management and kitchen teams and local food and drink suppliers to support their desire to support the local community and partner with local suppliers and smaller brewers wherever possible. Regency now manages all food purchasing for the pub, restaurant and hotel.

As owners of a portfolio of small businesses, we are all too familiar with the pressures that businesses face from national chains; and for that reason, we do all we can to give independent, family-owned and multi-site operators the chance to enhance margins and compete with the larger chains and national brands.

As Regency Purchasing Group continues to grow, we remain dedicated to our mission to continue to support venue of all sizes, and we love it when we can support venues with personal connections, like The Eastham Ferry Hotel.

We wish the whole team at The Eastham Ferry Hotel the best of luck with their new venture.
